Add Interest Codes to Prospect/Client Contacts

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can add interest codes to prospect/client contacts. The interest codes then become available for selection in the Information section of the contact card. You can use interest codes to track your prospect or client contacts' interests. For example, if you have prospect or client contacts who are interested in golf, you can invite them to activities or events that are related to that sport.

Note: You must have permission to add prospects and clients to WorkBook, as well as modify prospect- and client-related information and activities, to complete this task.

To add interest codes to a prospect or client contact:

  1. Display the contact card. See Display the Contact Card.
  2. On the side toolbar of the contact card, click Interest Codes .
  3. On the top toolbar of the contact card, click Create .
  4. Take any of the following actions:
    • To create a new interest code group, enter the interest code group name in the Group Name field and click . Select the newly-created interest code group in the Add New List to Group field and enter the interest code name in the Subject Name field.
    • To add an interest code to an existing interest code group, select the interest code group in the Add New List to Group field and enter the interest code name in the Subject Name field.
  5. Click OK.
