Create a Work Breakdown Structure

A work breakdown structure (WBS) organizes each of your projects into distinct, manageable work elements.

You can build the WBS for your project while it is still in the pursuit stage and update it throughout the project lifecycle. A carefully planned WBS is very important to project proposals, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. It can help you to track and measure important information about the project and bill your clients correctly and efficiently. In Vantagepoint you can create up to three WBS levels for your project where WBS 1 is the project level, WBS 2 is the phase level, and WBS 3 is the task level. Your system administrator can rename these WBS levels in settings. For individual projects, you can use all or only some of the enabled levels.
