Use this procedure to create a Work Authorization export file from data in PM Compass.
To create the export file:
On the Navigation menu, click Administration » General Import and Export » Work Authorization Export.
On the Work Authorization Export form toolbar, click New and select any of the following options:
New Record — Select this option to create a new Work Authorization Export configuration.
Copy Current Record — Select this option to create a copy of the record currently selected. This is useful when you want to create a new configuration that is almost identical to the current configuration; you only need to modify a few details and leave most of the existing details intact.
Select Records to Copy — Select this option to create a record by searching for the configuration to copy.
Use the <New Configuration> form General tab to configure general settings.
On the Schedule Export tab, specify scheduled settings and parameters.
(This step only applies to either an owner of an entity or a member of the SYSADMIN group.) Click the Access Control tab.
Define access rights that groups or individual users have to the file. For more information, see Add a User or Group of Users to the Access Control List.
On the form toolbar, click Save.
To perform an export straight away, click Export.
