Labels Tab of the System Settings Form

Use this tab to rename key fields used throughout PM Compass. For example, you can rename the terms Project, Control Account, Work Packages, and others based on the terms that your company uses.

Save

Click this button to save any changes you make on the form.

User-Defined Labels Grid

You cannot add or remove system labels from the User-Defined Labels grid.

User-Defined Labels

Select one of the following options:

  • Print — Select this option to display the Print Preview form.

  • Export to Excel — Select this option to open the Microsoft Excel application with the grid’s contents displayed.

Grid Columns

Field Name

Description

System Label

This column displays the system label name.

Label

Enter the label name you want to use. If you leave this field blank or do not click Save, it is populated with its default value.

Gender

Select the label's gender or article from the list box. This column is not visible when you select English as the language.

Leading Vowel

Select the check box to specify the use of an appropriate article before the Gender field.

For example, English uses the article a before words that do not begin with a vowel and the article an before words that begin with a vowel.

For languages that do not treat words with leading vowels differently, this check box does not affect the use of the article.
