Select Field

Use the Select Field dialog box to insert a table field in the email subject and body or dashboard summary and content.

To select a field:

  1. On the Select Field dialog box, select a table from the Table listbox.

  2. Select a field from the Field listbox.

  3. Click OK.

When a field name ends with the letters "ID", PM Compass concatenates the fields and/or adds the description. For example, when you select CAWP ID as a field in an email, the email displays the control account or work package in the format: 1.1.1.1/1030.
