Use the Email Configuration dialog box to send an email as an alert or to Create an Email Alert Action for a Workflow.

This dialog box has the following fields:
To — The primary recipient of the email.
Cc — This option means "carbon copy." Anyone listed on this field of a message receives a copy of the message.
Bcc — This option stands for "blind carbon copy." This is similar to the CC, except that anyone listed here is invisible to all the other recipients of the message.
Enter the email address or addresses of the person you want to send an email notification to for the workflow or alert. This email address can be for a licensed user or non-licensed PM Compass user.
You can also create separate notifications for user-emails and non-user emails if you want to send different email messages.
This field allows you to enter user fields from the Field Selection Dialog Box. These users can be created from user field mapping fields. This dialog box displays all groups established in the Deltek EPM Security Administrator.
This field allows you to enter a user or select the user from the User Search Dialog Box. This dialog box displays only PM Compass users with email address specified in the Email address field in EPM SA.
This field allows you to enter a group or select the group from the Group Search Dialog Box. This dialog box displays all groups established in the Deltek EPM Security Administrator.
This text box allows you to enter a subject line for email.
Click this button to display the Select Field Dialog Box where you can select a field to be inserted in the Email Alert.
Select this check box if you want to combine the emails sent by a particular user. You will receive one email that contains the aggregated message, instead of a separate email per record, of all the emails you are supposed to receive.
Enter your message in this text box.
Click this button to display the insert field dialog box where you can select a field to be inserted in the Email Alert.

Click this button to insert a link into the email. When you click the link, PM Compass opens and displays the relevant information. Depending on your settings, you may have to enter your PM Compass login information.
Select one of the following options from the drop-down list:
Workflow — Add a link to a workflow. PM Compass displays the workflow in a dashboard popup.
Multiple Workflows — This option is only valid when using the combined emails options from a scheduled alert. When the alert combines multiple emails, the list link will take you to a grid that displays the records that generated the email alert.
Enter Progress View — Add a link to display a list of records that need progress entered. PM Compass displays the Enter Progress view with a list of the applicable records.
Approved Progress View — Add a link to display a list of records that need progress approved. PM Compass displays the Approved Progress view with a list of records that need progress approved.
Click this button to display the Text Editor dialog box where you can edit/view your message.
