Create a Document Link in Link Center

Use this procedure to create a document link to a file on the Link Center form.

For more information, see Link Center Overview.

To create the link:

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Administration ยป Link Center.

  2. Enter or select necessary information. If you enter an invalid link in the Path field, an error message displays. You need to upload the document to a location that many PM Compass users can access. For more information, see Copy a SharePoint Hyperlink to the Links Tab.

  3. On the form toolbar, click Save.

Alternatively, you can create a new document link on a form and then associate the link with that area using the New Link dialog box. The forms that can display this dialog box include project, cost analysis, schedule analysis, and workflow.
