Create Notification Alert

Use this procedure to create notification alerts in PM compass.

Create the default notifications before setting up the workflow. Changing the defaults after the workflow is created does not change the text in the existing notifications.

To create a notification alert for a workflow:

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Administration ยป Workflow Type Configuration. The Workflow Tpe Configuration Form displays.

  2. Select the Workflow Steps tab.

  3. Click the Insert button in the Actions grid.

  4. Select Notification to display the Add Notification Alert Dialog Box where you can set the notification alert.

  5. Enter the required information.

  6. Click Save.

Tip: You can add a dashpart alert by using the Dashpart Configuration dialog box.
