Use this dialog box to specify that PM Compass should send an email and/or dashboard alert to the next step assignee when you click Submit for Review in the Modeling Session view. By default, the notification is sent to the Next Step Assignee; however, you can click on the Edit or Dashboard hyperlinks in the Steps grid if you want to edit the default messages or edit the users who receive the notification.
The email and/or dashboard alert includes a hyperlink to the cost data in a spreadsheet and lets them know that they can review the changes that you made to the schedule. You can edit the email content in Step Notification Defaults.

This feature is useful when used in conjunction with Next Step Assignee Can Edit Current Step.
Notify when Submit for Review is selected.
Select this check box to send notification through an email alert.
Select this check box to send notification through a dashboard alert.
Click this button to save your settings and close the dialog box.
Click this button to close the dialog box without saving your settings.
