Use this procedure to manually process a workflow action. You can manually process all actions except the Complete step which is automatically scheduled even when you select it from the Form View.
To manually process a workflow action, complete the following steps:
On the Navigation menu, click Workflows » <workflow type>.
Select a workflow type from the List View and click Form View.
Click Workflow Actions » <select action>.
If the workflow is a change request, and the change class is a budget class, PM Compass performs checks for negative undistributed budget, negative management reserve, and negative BAC for the work package. If there are errors, a message displays with details of the error. You have the option to ignore the error and continue, or stop the process. See System Checks When a Workflow is Approved for more information.
After the process is complete:
For Change Management workflows, the List View Workflow and Action columns are updated to reflect the completed process.
You will need to reload the view by switching to a different view (for example, List View » Form View » List View) to see the changes.
