Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Recommendations

There are several recommendations that you may consider before using Restore with Bulk Data Loader.

These recommendations are as follows:
  • Confirm that you can run the Oracle SQL Loader utility on the machine where the output files are generated. Resolve any errors encountered while running the Oracle SQL Loader utility before running Restore with Bulk Data Loader.
  • Start by only specifying UseBulkDataLoader=1. Do not use any other settings.
  • Confirm that you have correctly edited the Bulk Data Loader commands in the three BAT files (TPHASE, COSTELEM, BASEHIST). Verify the commands for correctness. If you are not familiar with the Oracle SQL Loader utility, make sure to seek assistance from an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA).
  • If you encounter errors after running the three BAT files, seek assistance from an Oracle DBA to interpret or resolve them.
  • After you have successfully run Restore with Bulk Data Loader with just the UseBulkDataLoader setting, and have run the batch file manually, you can start using additional options to run Bulk Data Loader automatically with the Restore process.
