Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Advanced Tab of the Application Preferences Dialog Box

Use this tab to define and configure various Cobra settings.

Warning: When you make changes on this tab, you must exit Cobra for the changes to take effect. You must also stop and restart all Cobra Web Service instances, including those that are deployed in PM Compass.
Attention: For the list of available settings for all the supported categories and subcategories, see Advanced Settings.

Fields

Field Description
Category Use this field to select the advanced setting category.
Sub-Category Use this field to select the advanced setting subcategory that you want to configure.

Settings Grid

Use this grid to define and configure the settings and values for the selected category and subcategory.

Field Description
Option Use this column to define the setting name. Click the New button to add a new row in the grid, and enter a setting name or select from the list of available settings for the currently selected category and subcategory.

If the cell of the column is empty or if the setting name already exists in another row, Cobra displays a validation error.

Value Use this column to specify a value for the setting in the grid.

If a cell in the Value column is blank, Cobra displays a validation error.

New Click this button to add a new row to the grid.
Delete Click this button to delete the currently selected row in the grid. This button is disabled if the grid is empty.
