Ajera password requirements

All employees must have a password that meets the Ajera password requirements. Ajera SaaS customers passwords expire after 120 days. When a password expires the employee will be prompted to enter a new password when logging in.

For on-premise customers Ajera passwords expiration can be defined. You set your password expiration in Company > Preferences on the System Settings tab.

Administrators can reset an Employee’s password, in Setup > Employees and the next time the employee logs in they will be prompted to enter a new password. Users can change their own password through Setup > Utility > Change Password.

Note: If you use active directory, the password requirements do not apply to you.

Your password must:

  • Be at least 8 characters
  • Have a least one upper case letter
  • Have a least one lower case letter
  • Contain a number
  • Contain a special character
  • Not be a common password, dictionary, or disallowed word (ex. 1234, Deltek, Ajera, etc.)
  • Not be one of the last 12 previously used passwords
  • Not contain user's first name
  • Not contain user's last name
  • Not contain the login email
  • Not contain the login username
