Edit Inter-company Reconciliation Settings

To use the Inter-company reconciliation submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the Employee cross-company access submodule under Settings.

To edit inter-company reconciliation settings:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Company Settings > Inter-company Reconciliation.
  3. Highlight the vendor company whose inter-company reconciliation settings you want to edit and on the right pane, select the checkbox of any of the following settings:
    • Expand Settlement Method Settings: Use this to determine the settlement method that will be used with the vendor company.
    • Expand P/L Owner Company (expenses) Settings: Use this to determine the profit and loss owner company account for expenses.
    • Expand Balance Owner Company (liabilities) Settings: Use this to determine the balance owner company account for liabilities.
    • Expand P/L Vendor Company (income) Settings: Use this to determine the profit and loss vendor company account for income.
    • Expand Balance Vendor Company Settings: Use this to determine the balance vendor company account.
    • Expand Expense Entry Settings: Use this to determine the holding account for the job company and the offset account for the vendor company.
    • Expand Move Vouchers between Jobs and Companies Settings: Use this to determine the origin holding company and the target holding account.
    • Expand Cross Company Creditor Invoice Settings: Use this to determine the offset account of the creditor company and the holding account of the job company.
  4. Select from the drop-down list the applicable option.
