Use the Login Settings pane to generate personal API keys.
To generate personal API keys:

Navigate to your
Profile Drop-Down Menu > My Settings >
Login Settings.

Scroll to the
Personal API Keys section of the My Settings / Login Settings pane, if needed.

Click
Generate New Personal API Key.
The Generate Personal API Key dialog box is displayed. You must provide values for both of the fields in this dialog box.

Click the calendar icon in the
Expiration Date field to select an expiration date.

Enter text to help identify the purpose of this personal API key in the
Note field.

Click
Create.
An information dialog box displays the new personal API key value.
IMPORTANT! Be sure to note this value because it is never displayed again, for security reasons.

Click
OK to close the information dialog box.
The new personal API key is added to the grid in the Personal API Keys section of the My Settings / Login Settings pane.
