Procedures - Formatting Custom Reports in Excel

You can modify the layout of custom reports in Excel.

In an Excel PivotTable report, you find formatting and layout options in the following locations:

  • PivotTable Options dialog box
  • Field Settings dialog box
  • Design tab
  • Options tab
  • Shortcut menu when you right-click a report row or column

The Options tab and Design tab are visible after you click any cell in the PivotTable report layout area. You also see a PivotTable Tools label above the tabs when they display. If your mouse pointer is in a cell outside the PivotTable area, these tabs do not display.
