Specify Subtotal and Grand Total Options

You can control how subtotals and grand totals display on reports.

To specify subtotal and grand total options, complete the following step:

Select one of the following actions:

• Right-click a dimension cell and on the shortcut menu, click Subtotal <field name>.

• Right-click a dimension cell, and on the shortcut menu, click Field Settings. Subtotal options are on the Subtotals & Filters tab.

• In the Layout group on the Design tab, select a subtotal or grand total option.

• On the PivotTable Options dialog box, click the Totals & Filters tab, and select whether or not to show grand totals.
