Vantagepoint Icon Menu Items in an Outlook Email

Use the Vantagepoint icon menu items to access Vantagepoint functionality in Outlook Web App (OWA).

The Vantagepoint icon displays in Outlook Web App (OWA) in an email that you have open if the email has a recipient or sender who is entered as a contact in the Contacts hub in Vantagepoint.

When you click the Vantagepoint icon in an email, select one of the following options in the menu:

Open Deltek When you open Outlook for the first time after you install the Outlook add-in for Vantagepoint or if your Vantagepoint password has changed since the last time you used Outlook, click this option to open the Vantagepoint welcome pane. Then enter the information to connect Outlook to your Vantagepoint database and your Vantagepoint login credentials. This information is saved and used automatically to connect to the Vantagepoint database every time you open Outlook.

After you connect to the Vantagepoint database, when you open an email that has a recipient or sender who is entered as a contact in Vantagepoint and you click Open Deltek, the Vantagepoint contact information pane opens and displays specific information that is entered in Vantagepoint for the contact.

Account Information This opens the Vantagepoint account information pane, where you can view or change the information that connects Outlook to your Vantagepoint database.
