Create a New Vantagepoint Contact from Microsoft Outlook

From Outlook, you can create a contact record in Vantagepoint for email recipients or senders who are not already entered as contacts in Vantagepoint.

Prerequisites: You must have the Outlook add-in installed.

To create a contact record in Vantagepoint for an email recipient or sender from an email in Outlook:

  1. In Outlook, open an email that has a recipient or sender who is not already entered as a contact in Vantagepoint.
  2. Complete one of the following actions:
    • In Outlook Web App: In the email, click the Vantagepoint icon, and select Open Deltek.
    • In Outlook for Windows or Outlook for Mac: On the Home tab in the Outlook ribbon, click Open Deltek in the Vantagepoint group.
  3. In the Vantagepoint contact information pane, click on the toolbar.
  4. In the Vantagepoint email recipients pane, click beside an email address (in the Not in Deltek section) to open the Contacts hub and add the person as a Vantagepoint contact in Vantagepoint.
  5. Complete the fields on the Vantagepoint Contacts form and click Save.
