  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Deltek Group in the Microsoft Outlook Ribbon

Use the options in the Deltek group on Home tab of the Outlook ribbon in Outlook for Windows to access Vantagepoint functionality.

Field Description
Open Deltek When you open Outlook for the first time after you install the Outlook add-in for Vantagepoint, click this option to open the Vantagepoint welcome pane, and enter the information to connect Outlook to your Vantagepoint database and your Vantagepoint login credentials. This information is saved and used automatically to connect to the Vantagepoint database every time you open Outlook.

After you connect to the Vantagepoint database, when you open an email that has a recipient who is entered as a contact in Vantagepoint and you click Open Deltek, the Vantagepoint contact information pane opens and displays specific information that is entered in Vantagepoint for the contact.

Account Information Click this option to open the Vantagepoint account information pane where you can view or change the information that connects Outlook to your Vantagepoint database.
