Contents of the Approval Progress Dialog Box

The dialog box displays information about the progress of the expense line based on the approval workflow.

Fields at the Top of the Dialog Box

Summary information of the record is displayed at the top section of the Approval Progress dialog box. The summary information fields that display depend on the selected record type. For example, expense line records display employee, record date, amount, and project information that are associated with the record.

Current Assignments Grid

Field Description
Step This column displays the approval step number based on the approval workflow.
Step Description This column displays the description of the approval step.
Step Started This column displays the date when the approval step was triggered.
Who Has Assignment This column displays the current approver of the approval step.
Responsibility This column displays the approval role of the assignee.
Delegate This column displays a check box, which is selected if the employee was delegated to perform the task for the assignment by another employee who was originally assigned to approve the task.
Assignment Due This column displays the date when the approval step is due (the date by which it must be approved).
Action Taken This column displays the action that was taken for a step. The possible values are: Approved, Cancelled, Reassigned, Rejected, Reopened, and Reviewed.
Action Date This column displays the date when an action was taken for the step.
Comment This column displays any comments that were entered on the Approve dialog box or the Reject dialog box when an employee approved or rejected a step.
Grid Filter Click to display the filter fields for each column in the grid. Enter a filter criteria in the column that you want to use as a filter to sort the records displayed in the grid.

History Grid

Field Description

New State This column displays the new status of the step after an action was taken for it.
