Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Switch Between Family Versions in Assembly View (Classic Workspace)

As an administrator or author, switch between multiple versions of a family to select the firm-level baseline content that fits your project requirements.

You can switch versions only for families that have at least one published office master version in the office master element library.

To switch between family versions in Assemblies view:

  1. In the Project Elements pane of the classic workspace, select a family.
  2. On your selected family, click (element menu icon) > Office Master Selection .
    This list of available versions for the family displays. The current version for the project displays with a check icon ().
  3. From the list of available office master versions, click an available version.
    Warning: When you switch to another version, the project workspace discards all your modifications for the current version.
    The project workspace loads the selected version displays and, if unadded, adds the family to the project. For office master versions, product selection is unavailable.
