Selecting Product Listings for a Project
This portion of the online help details how you can use the product selection features to research and select products for your A/E firm's project specifications.
You can browse, search, research, and add product listings to your project specifications. To begin product selection, you must open a project in the classic workspace or new workspace, and access the Product Listings window at the project level. With this mode, you can view product listings that are appropriate and applicable to your active project as well as your selected category, assembly, family, section, or product type.
Permissions
To select products for a project, you must be the project's creator or a member of the project team. In addition, the following permissions apply.

As an administrator or author, add both a manufacturer and its product listing to a project to fulfill a product requirement for your specifications' families, sections, and product types. - Add a Manufacturer to a Project

As an administrator or author, add a premium MasterSpec listing, premium proprietary listing, or premium listing to a project to use as a basis of design (BOD) for your specifications' assemblies, families, sections, and product types. - Flag a Product Listing for Review
Flag a product listing for review to consult with other project team members regarding its inclusion to the project. You can also flag a listing to bookmark it and filter for it later. - Remove Product Listing from a Project
As an administrator or author, remove a product listing from a project so that the project no longer uses the product listing as a required product, basis-of-design (BOD), or comparable product.
