Contents of the Product Listings Window (Project Level)

Use the contents of this window to browse, research, and select product listings for your active project.

Navigate to the following contents:

General Contents

This windows contains the following items:

Item	Description
Window Title	This displays a Product Listings label at the top of the window.
AI Disclaimer ()	This displays information explaining the use of AI-assisted features within Product Listings.
All Products Pill	Select this option to deactivate all filters in this window and view all product listings.
Element Path Pill	This option displays the element path of your selected element in the project workspace. This element path includes only your selected category and your selected assemblies or division. You can view your selected family, section, and product type in the Families and Product Types filter fields. By default, this option is selected. Select this option to filter the product listings in this window by your selected project element.
Product Listing Filters	This consists of the available filters that you can use to filter product listings in this window.
Results Tab	Click this tab to display the product listings on the Results tab.
Remaining Products Tab	Click this tab to display the product listings on the Remaining Products tab.
Product Listing Details Pane	This pane displays all the available information for your selected product listing card.

Product Listing Filters

To filter the product listings, the following options are available:

Option	Description
Categories	To filter product listings by discipline‑based or model‑based categories (such as Doors, Ducts, Lighting Fixtures, or Mechanical Equipment), select a category. When no category is selected, All Categories is selected by default. If you select a category from the Categories panel in the workspace, that category is automatically selected in this filter.
Families	To filter product listings based on family or section elements to which the products are applicable, select one or multiple families. In addition to your selections in other filter fields, your selections in the origin project workspace (from where you opened the Product Listings window) also filter the available families in this field. This field has the following special behaviors: Selected Family or Section: If you selected a family or section in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field uses that family or section as a default value. Selected Product Type: If you selected a product type in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field uses that product type's parent family as a default value. Filtering by Assembly: If you selected an assembly in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field lists only families under the selected assembly and that assembly's sibling assemblies.
Product Types	To filter product listings based on product type elements to which the products are applicable, select one or multiple product types. In addition to your selections in other filter fields, your selections in the origin project workspace (from where you opened the Product Listings window) also filter the available product types in this field. This field has the following special behaviors: Selected Product Type: If you selected a product type in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field uses that product type as a default value. Filtering by Assembly: If you selected an assembly in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field lists only product types under the selected assembly. Filtering by Family or Section: If you selected a family or section in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field lists only product types under the selected family or section.
Manufacturers	To filter product listings based on their building product manufacturer, select one or multiple manufacturers. In addition to your selections in other filter fields, your selections in the origin project workspace (from where you opened the Product Listings window) also filter the available manufacturers in this field. This field has the following special behaviors: Filtering by Category: If you selected a category in the Categories pane in the origin workspace, this field lists only manufacturers that offer product listings that relate to the selected category. Filtering by Family or Section: If you selected a family or section in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field lists only manufacturers that offer product listings that relate to the product types under the selected family or section. Filtering by Product Type: If you selected a product type in the Project Elements pane in the origin workspace, this field lists only manufacturers that offer product listings that relate to the selected product type.
Added to Project	To filter product listings by only listings added to project, select this option.
Flagged for Review	To filter product listings by only listings flagged for review, select this option.
Premium MasterSpec	To filter product listings by the respective listing type, which determines the available information and/or applicable standard for the product, select this option.

Manufacturer
Manufacturer Options	To filter product listings by only listings that include manufacturer options, select this option.
Sustainability	To filter product listings by only listings that include sustainability resources or partnerships, such as Sustainable Minds, select this option.
BIM	To filter product listings by only listings that include BIM resources, such as BIMsmith, select this option.
Clear All	To clear all selections in all filter options, click this button.

Tip: Product filters work with other filters and enable you to perform multiple actions for selection. For more information, see Product Filter Rules and Mechanics.

Results Tab

This tab displays the available product listings of type Premium MasterSpec, Premium, and Manufacturer based on your set product listing filters. The product listings are in the form of product listing cards. Select one or more product listings from this tab to add to your project, and click a product listing card to view detailed information in the Product Listings Details pane.

Note: When working at the project level, you can select multiple manufacturers or product listings for the same product type to include alternatives or comparisons in your project.

In addition to product listing filters, your following selections in the project workspace filter the available listings on this tab:

• The selected category in the Categories pane.
• The selected assembly, family, section, or product type in the Project Elements pane.
• The selected product type property options in your selected element.
• The selected manufacturers in the manufacturer paragraph or BOD product paragraph in your selected element.

Remaining Products Tab

This tab displays the available related products (as product listing cards) based on your set product listing filters. In addition to product listing filters, your following selections in the project workspace filter the available listings on this tab:

• The selected category in the Categories pane.
• The category of your selected assembly, family, section, or product type in the Project Elements pane.

Product Listing Details Pane

This pane displays all the available information for your selected product listing card. This includes photos, documents, links, and product properties.
