Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Categories Pane (Classic Workspace)

Use this pane to select a building category and discipline. These selections help you filter project elements and product listings for your project within the classic workspace.

When you choose a category and discipline, Specpoint automatically filters the available project elements, which assemblies, families, and product types, in the Project Elements pane. This filtering applies to both Assemblies view/UniFormat and Divisions view/MasterFormat standards. Your selections also refine the Product Listing window, ensuring you see only the most relevant product options.

You can show or hide the Categories pane at any time. This flexibility allows you to either make your category and discipline selections or maximize the size of the element form. Specpoint retains your selections even when you exit and return to the classic workspace or toggle the pane's visibility.
