Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Configure Specpoint Shared Parameter for a Revit Model

Configure the shared SpecpointProjectGuid shared parameter for a Revit model to enable it to link to a Specpoint project.

If you will use a Revit model based on a Revit template file (.RTE), you must first configure the SpecpointProjectGuid project parameter for the template file.

To configure the Specpoint shared parameter for a Revit model:

  1. Launch Revit and open a model.
  2. On the Revit ribbon, click the Manage tab.
  3. On the Manage tab, click Shared Parameter.
  4. In the Edit Shared Parameters window, select Project Info in the Parameter Group field.
    If the Project Info parameter group does not exist, create a new group:
    1. Under Groups, click New....
    2. In the New Parameter Group dialog box, enter Project Info in the Name field.
    3. Click OK.
  5. Under Parameters, click New....
  6. In the Parameter Properties dialog box, enter SpecpointProjectGuid in the Name field.
  7. In the Discipline field, select Common.
  8. In the Data Type field, select Text.
  9. Click OK.
  10. In the Edit Shared Parameters window, click OK.
  11. In Revit, save the Revit model file.
