Contents of the Categories Panel (New Workspace)

Use the contents of this panel to select the building categories and filter the elements in the Elements panel.

Contents

The following options are available in this panel:

Option	Description
Discipline	Select the disciplines for which to filter the categories. The following disciplines are available: All Disciplines Architectural Structural Consultant Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Civil Coordination Construction Facilities Management Building Product Manufacturer The default value is All Disciplines. When you select a discipline, Specpoint selects the Administration category by default.
Categories	This lists all the available categories based on the selected discipline. Click a category to select it. The following categories are available: All Categories Administration Air Terminals Cable Trays Casework Ceilings Columns Communication Devices Conduits Curtain Panels Curtain Wall Mullons Data Devices Detail Items Doors Duct Accessories Duct Fittings Ducts Electrical Equipment Electrical Fixtures Fire Alarm Devices Flex Ducts Flex Pipes Floors Generic Models Lighting Devices Lighting Fixtures Mechanical Equipment Parking Pipe Accessories Pipe Fittings Pipes Planting Plumbing Fixtures Railings Ramps Roofs Security Devices Site Specialty Equipment Sprinklers Stairs Structural Columns Structural Foundations Structural Framing Structural Rebar Structural Stiffeners Structural Trusses Telephone Devices Wall Sweeps Walls Windows Wires Work Results Note: You can use the Work Results category as a bridge to work in the traditional method while adjusting to the learning curve of assemblies.
