Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Ask Dela Chat Box

Use the Ask Dela chat box to start a conversation Specpoint's generative AI assistant and inquire about MasterSpec library content, Specpoint features, and related resources.

This chat box functions similarly to most modern chat boxes and messaging applications where messages are displayed in message bubbles and are organized into respective sides. Your prompts and questions display in light purple message bubbles on the right and Ask Dela replies display in dark violet bubbles on the left. You can scroll through the chat box thread to view the history of prompts and replies. Enter your prompts in the message input text box at the bottom of the chat box.

Ask Dela Modes

Ask Dela is available in all parts of Deltek Specpoint. Depending on where you use Specpoint's AI assistant, the following information is available from the chatbot:

Location MasterSpec Library Specpoint Features Project History
General, accessed from the top menu
Project Workspace, accessed from the workspace side panel

These modes have separate histories of prompts and replies.
