Add an Assembly (New Workspace)

As an administrator or author, add an assembly element to manage the contents and performance requirements of your project specifications.

When you add an assembly, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related project elements.

To add an assembly to the active project:

  1. In the Elements panel of the new workspace, select an unadded assembly.
    An unadded assembly displays in light blue.
  2. On the action bar, click Add to project.
    In the Elements panel, the assembly displays in dark blue to indicate its added state in the project. For assembly groups, the assembly's performance requirements are now available for modification in the new workspace editor.
