Working with Projects
You can use the available features in the Project Home page and the project dashboard to manage your A/E firm's projects within Specpoint.
Use this portion as a reference for working on the following aspects of your project:
- Project setup
- General project information
- Project team
Permissions
The available actions that you can perform depend on your user permission and your inclusion in the project team. You must be a given project's creator or a current team member to view, modify, and remove the project. In addition, the following permissions apply:

As an author or administrator, enter general project information to begin creating a project specification. - Create an Owner
Create a new owner parameter value that users in your A/E firm can use to assign to your A/E firm's projects. - Open a Project on the Project Overview Page
Open a project on the Project Overview page to manage its project overview information, design progress, and teams. - View Project Overview
Open an assigned project on the Project Overview page to view its project overview information, design progress, and teams. - Edit Project Information
Edit project information to keep details about the project correct and updated. - Upload Project Image
Upload an image for a project to show to users in your A/E firm. - Remove a Project
As an administrator, remove a project from your A/E firm account to delete any data that is incorrect or no longer necessary.
