Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Parts (Office Master)

On the first outline level, use tabs or parts to organize the contents of an office master family or product type based on each content item's functional nature.

In each office master family, the following tabs or parts are available:

Tab or Part Description
General The contents of this tab or part include properties such as submittal requirements, quality assurance properties, and warranty options.

The General part is equivalent to the Part 1 of a section in MasterSpec.

Products The contents of this tab or part include shared product type properties that typically belong in both a family and a product type.

The Products part is equivalent to the shared product type properties in the Part 2 of a section in MasterSpec.

Execution The contents of this tab or part include "installation requirements" and shared properties.

The Execution part is equivalent to the Part 3 of a section in MasterSpec.

Similar to the element form of the project workspace, the element form of the office master workspace displays these parts as element tabs. Click on each element tab to view and begin working on its articles and paragraphs.
