Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Add a Unit of Measure (UOM) Field

In an office master family, create a unit of measure (UOM) field to enable users to enter measurement values in a paragraph in their projects that use the respective family.

To add a unit of measure (UOM) field:

  1. On the element form of the office master workspace, locate the paragraph to which you want to add a UOM field.
  2. In the paragraph, click a location in the paragraph text for the UOM field.
    Note: You can add a UOM field within an option/pill.
  3. On the workspace toolbar, click .
    You can also press CTRL+U.
  4. In the new UOM field in the paragraph, enter the default values.
    Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each UOM field that you want to add.
  5. To save your changes, click a different area on the element form.
