Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Manufacturer Basis-of-Design (BOD) Product Paragraph

In a manufacturer product type, use this paragraph to select a product listing to use as a basis of design (BOD) for the product type and fulfill a product requirement.

Similar to a MasterSpec BOD product paragraph, this paragraph enables you to select one product listing to use as a basis of design and select manufacturers and product listings as comparable products.

A manufacturer BOD product is available only in manufacturer product types. This enables you to select products for a proprietary or manufacturer-specific product type or class.

In the project workspace, this paragraph and all its icons display in blue. Option set items display in orange.
