Headers & Footers
Use headers & footers to include important project, firm, and submission information on each page of your exported project sections.
In Specpoint, you can configure and apply header & footer templates to your project. This template contains your specified content, such as text and merge fields, and configured formatting for each content item. By using a header & footer template, you can maintain your specified content and formatting in a single place instead of updating them one-by-one for each change in formatting requirements or submission goals.
A header & footer template stores your specified content and formatting in a single entity. When you apply a header & footer template to a project, you apply all specified content and formatting. You cannot selectively apply some formatting settings and discard other settings. For example, you want to apply the header and use a different footer. For these cases, you must create multiple templates.
Header & footer templates are firm-wide settings. Specpoint saves your templates and makes them available for all your firm's projects. You can select from all your firm's available templates and apply them to your project.
The platform provides a default header & footer template, which automatically applies to all your new projects. You cannot modify or delete this template but you can copy it and use it as a basis for your A/E firm's custom header & footer templates.
