Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Discard an Uploaded or Imported File

As an administrator or author, discard an uploaded file from a project to select another file for the family or to revise and re-upload the initial file. Discard an imported file to remove the family and its product types from your project.

When discarding imported files, Specpoint reverts the family and its product types to their MasterSpec versions if the imported elements initially replaced existing baseline versions. Otherwise, the platform completely removes the imported family and its product types.

To discard an uploaded or imported file:

  1. Open the Import page for a project.
  2. In the uploaded elements pane on the Import page, locate the uploaded or imported family.
  3. In the row of the family, click (delete icon).
  4. In the Discard Changes dialog box, click OK.
