Contents of a Smart Report
Use the contents of a smart report to gain comprehensive insights on your Specpoint project.
Contents
Smart reports provide an organized and consolidated view of the elements that you added to your project. After you generate a report, you can choose to view the data by division or assembly.
In this report, the following contents are available:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Refresh icon | Click the icon to refresh the data in the report. |
Export | Click the icon to export your report to Excel. |
Expand All | Click this button to expand all assemblies/divisions and view all data items. |
Collapse All | Click this button to collapse all assemblies/division and hide all data items |
Assemblies/Divisions | These organize the included data items in the table for a given report by their respective assemblies/divisions.
Click an assembly/division to show or hide its data items. |
Data Items | Each data item is a row in the project table and represents a property or paragraph within your project. |
For each data item, this report includes related information into these columns:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Data Type | This displays the type of smart report or the Specpoint rule set to which the data belongs. |
Data Title | This displays the property key under any article that contains the name of the report type.

Data Description | This displays the value of the property.

Section | This displays the family or section in which the property belongs
Click on the section to locate it in the project workspace. |
Section Source | This displays MasterSpec if the family or section is from the MasterSpec base library, or Imported if the row is imported. |
Product Type | This displays the specific product type element in which the property belongs. Click on the product type to locate it in the project workspace.
Note: If a property has multiple product types, then each product type will have its own respective row.

Product Selection | This displays the name of the selected products in the property.

Article | This displays the article where the paragraph belongs. |
Drawing Designation | This displays the drawing designation of the product type, if applicable. |
Tag | This displays the article's Level of Specification (LOS) and the project's Sustainability parameter value. |
Last Update | This displays the name of the user who last updated the content related to the data from the project workspace and the timestamp of when the content was updated. |
