Caution Window
Use this window to review the minor issues within an uploaded family. This window provides you with a list of articles that you should revise before you import the family into your project.
For each family that you import, the platform reads and converts the imported content based on Specpoint's baseline content format. This enables you to work on the imported content within the platform in the same way you work on content native to Specpoint.
When you upload content that contains minor issues or deviations from the baseline content format, the converter tags these issues as caution items. This window lists the articles that contain these caution items and organizes them by caution item type. We recommend that you revise these caution items and re-upload the updated content, but you may proceed with the content import without making any revisions. These minor issues include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Duplicate instance of a
family-wide property
Note: Specpoint automatically resolves a number of issues, such as duplicate properties that are not associated to a product type.
- Removal of text boxes
- Removal of highlights
- Removal of hyperlinks
- Duplicate sustainability paragraph
For more information, see Caution Items for Import.
You can open this window by clicking the caution count (the count must be 1 or greater) in the Caution column of an uploaded family on the Import page.
