Run a Task Immediately

Use these steps to run a task immediately.

Note: You can only run a task immediately if REST settings are enabled for that task, because this option requires the Maconomy integration. See Setup > System Settings > Maconomy Integration > REST API group.

To run a task immediately:

1. Go to Tasks > Task Specifications.
2. Select a task specification from the list or create a task specification.
3. Click Run Task.

   The system redirects to the Recent Tasks tab and a progress dialog box is displayed. The task will continue to run even when you choose to close the dialog box. You can click on the Progress button to reopen this dialog box, if needed.

   This tab shows the status of the task’s execution. To see the detailed log lines of the most recent execution of the task, click Execution logs.

You can select and run more than one task specification. In this case, all task executions after the first one that you select are queued and run in the order in which you selected them.
