Create a Task Specification

Use these steps to create a task specification.

To create a task specification:

  1. Go to Task Scheduling > Task Specifications.
  2. Click New Task.
  3. Select one of the task types in the drop-down list.
    For more information about task types, see Task Types.
  4. In the Add Task Specification wizard:
    1. In the General tab, enter a name and description for your task specification.
    2. Depending on the task type you selected, configure parameters as needed. For more information, see Task Type Parameters.
  5. Click Save.
