Generate the Narrative Score

Follow this procedure to generate the narrative score. Make sure you have valid artificial intelligence login credentials entered into the EPM Security Administrator tool and that you have entered your intended narrative on the Assisted Explanation of Variance form.

To generate the narrative score:

1. Ensure that you have valid artificial intelligence login credentials entered into the EPM Security Administrator.

2. Restore the Assisted Explanation of Variance workflow type.

a. Access Workflow Type Configuration.

b. Click Import.

c. Select which workflow type you want to restore based on the database you are using.

3. Navigate to your Assisted Explanation of Variance workflow.

4. Enter your intended narrative on the Assisted Explanation of Variance form.

5. On the General tab, click the Generate Narrative Score button.

This button is enabled only for workflows that have a status of New or In Review

If the information in the EPM SA tool is invalid or blank, clicking this button will display a message informing you that the feature has not been enabled. You should then contact your System Administrator to set up the AI connection in the EPM SA tool.

6. Click the narrative score in hyperlink to see the detailed narrative score summary.
