Test a Database Connection

This procedure allows you to test the connection to a database in the EPM Security Weblink utility. When the utility opens, the General tab displays by default.

To test the database connection on the General tab, complete the following steps:

1. From the Current Database drop-down list of the General tab, select a database.

2. In the Configuration group box, enter or modify necessary information.

3. On the application toolbar, click Test » Database Connection.

The Database Connection option is disabled on the Report Server tab.
