Report Server Tab

The Report Server tab of the EPM Security Weblink utility allows you to specify report server connection details.

All tabs in Weblink display a common toolbar. Some buttons, however, are only available on certain tabs.

Report Server Web Service Access

This group box allows you to configure access to the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). It contains the following fields:

Server URL

Enter the URL of the SSRS report server. By default, this field is blank.

Windows Username

Enter the Windows user name that you use to access the report server Web service. By default, this field is blank.

Windows Password

Enter the corresponding password for the specified Windows user name. By default, this field is blank.

Report Server Database Access

This group box allows you to configure access to the report server database. It contains the following fields and option:

Server Name

Enter a server name. You only use the value of this field to access the report server database catalog. By default, this field displays the local host.

Database Name

Enter the name of the report server database used for the report server URL. By default, this field displays ReportServer.

Windows Authentication

Select this option to use a Windows user account to connect to the database. By default, this option is not selected.

Selecting this option disables the Database Username and Database Password fields, allowing you or anyone assigned as the administrator to use the Windows user name and password instead.

Database Username

Enter the user name that will be used to access the report server database.

Database Password

Enter the password of the user specified in the Database Username field.

Passwords are encrypted, wherein the Weblink utility replaces all characters with asterisks (*).

Report Root Folder

Enter the name of the root folder where all PM Compass reports are installed. By default, this field displays PMCompass.
