Delete a Database Profile

You can delete a database entry from the General tab, from the Grid View grid, or by clicking the Delete Old Databases button, which you can find on the Weblink toolbar. This procedure only allows you to delete the database from the General tab.

For more information, see EPM Security Weblink Overview.

To delete the database, complete the following steps:

  1. In the EPM Security Weblink utility, verify that you are on the General tab.

When the utility opens, the General tab displays by default.

  1. From the Current Database drop-down list, select the database that you want to delete. Alternatively, you can enter a character that matches the first character of the database name that you need. Once you enter the character, the Quick Find feature performs a type-ahead search, and locates the domain that best matches the specified character. For example, typing "s" displays the first SQL database in the list.

All fields that display on the General tab and Report Server tab are dependent on the value of this field.

  1. On the application toolbar, click Delete.

  2. On the application toolbar, click Save.
