You can view all document placeholders for a project in a project's DLM tab. To help you to manage document placeholders for a project, you can search, filter, and group them. - Manage Document Placeholders
To save time when you set up a project, you can create placeholders in advance for any documents that you expect to receive. Each placeholder can store multiple file types, versions, and metadata for a selected document. - Add Files to Placeholders
When you receive controlled project files, you can add them to document placeholders within DLM for the project. This allows you to control and manage those documents, and issue them to selected recipients. You can add files from your PC, and files already published to the DMS, such as file attachments published through the PIM Outlook add-in. - Review Drawings
Design documents can be sent for review from the Documents tab on project records. You select the DLM approval route to use, and reviewers are notified via email with links to the approval tickets. Reviewers can add comments and markup, if enabled, and choose to approve or reject the documents. - Mark Up Documents
You can add markup to documents and drawings, including annotations and notes. Other project collaborators can then view the markup, add notes, and respond to comments. - Issue Documents
You issue documents when you want to distribute them to people working on a project in a controlled manner. To help you to keep track of controlled drawings and documents for a project, a number of reporting options are available. You can generate a full document register report, and report on a range of document issues. In addition, you can create custom document register reports that report on subsets of data.
