Resource Histogram Preferences Dialog Box
The resource histogram view displays resource and cost data against a time scale. It is useful for modeling project resources because you can compare resource assignments to availabilities.
You can also view the overall usage of a resource (or a group of resources) over the time span of the project.
Use the Histogram Preferences dialog box to set the resource histogram parameters of a project.

Tabs
The Histogram Preferences dialog box contains the following tabs:
- Options: Use the Options tab to control how Open Plan displays resource assignment and usage.
- Resources: Use the Resources tab to control the type of resource data Open Plan displays in the histogram view.
- Earned Value: Use the Earned Value tab to control the type of earned value data Open Plan displays in the histogram view.
Resizing
A grabber pad in the bottom right corner of a dialog box indicates that the dialog box is resizable. Click and drag the sides of the dialog box to resize.
