Display a Resource Histogram on a Barchart

Use this procedure to display a resource histogram on a bar chart.

To display a resource histogram on a barchart:

1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in resource histogram view.

2. Ensure that a resource file is assigned to the project and that the project contains at least one activity with a resource assignment.

3. Perform time analysis on the project.

4. If you want to display resource utilization, perform resource scheduling.

5. In the General menu group of the View tab, click Select Resource.

6. In the Resource Selection dialog box, select the resources to display on the histogram.

   If you select multiple resources, choose whether to show the resource data Total, Stacked, or Category.

7. Click OK.
