This feature will require a user to enter his/her password before accessing a kiosk event. Kiosk events are view-only events such as Accruals View, Messages View, Open Jobs View, and Time Card View.
If the user enters an invalid or expired password, the event will not display. The user may also have a limited number of attempts to log in with the wrong password. This limit (Max Pwd Tries) is defined in the person’s Password Profile.
This feature is available only on terminals that support kiosk events such as the InTeract Client, Web Time Clock, B-Net 9580, B-Net 9540, B-Web 9500, and Kaba Terminal 9700.
To configure this feature, you need to add a password prompt and a password prompt validation to the kiosk event.
