The Event Type Setting tab on the Event Type form determines the configured settings for the highlighted event type. You can modify the default values for each setting in non-system required event types. The default values you define here are used if you choose to reset any custom settings on the Event Setting tab.

Setting Type

Setting Description
Description of the event setting.
Setting Value
Value of the event setting.
Modifiable
When this box is checked, you can modify an event type's Setting Value.
Update Date, Updated By
These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Event > Event Type > Event Type Setting.
Select the event type in the top half of the form.
The Event Type Setting tab will display the setting values.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Event > Event Type > Event Type Setting.
Select the event type in the top half of the form.
Go to the Event Type Setting tab.
Select the record you want to modify and click Modify.
Change the Setting Value and click Save.
Any events that have this event type will use the new event type setting values.
