Make Available Offline Screen

Use the Make Available Offline screen to download the timesheets to use for time entry even without Internet connection.

The Make Available Offline screen displays when you tap the Make Timesheets Available Offline item on the Costpoint Mobile T&E menu, which is only available when the Allow Offline Access option in Costpoint Time & Expense is selected.
Attention: For more information on how to enable offline timesheet access, see "Make Timesheets Available Offline" in the Costpoint Mobile Time and Expense Technical Installation and Configuration Guide.

Upon tapping Make Timesheets Available Offline, the Make Available Offline screen displays. Use this screen to download your timesheet data for the current, previous, and next periods to the Costpoint Mobile T&E application and make them available to you offline The table below provides information about the the buttons on this screen.

Button Description
Continue Tap this button to proceed to the next screen and download the timesheets for offline time entry.
Cancel Tap this button to cancel the preparation for offline time entry and return to the Timesheet screen.

If you tap Continue, the Make Available Offline screen displays the current, previous, and next timesheet periods to download for offline time entry. The table below provides information about the buttons on this screen.

Button Description
Proceed Tap this button to allow the Costpoint Mobile T&E application to download your timesheet data for the current, previous, and next periods.
Note: Timesheets that are not yet created for a timesheet period or with no lines saved are not available for download.
Cancel Tap this button to cancel the preparation for offline time entry and return to the Timesheet screen.

If any of the current, previous, and next timesheet periods have missing timesheet data (for example, timesheets are not yet created or with no lines saved), the Costpoint Mobile T&E displays that the record is missing for that timesheet period. The following table describes the buttons on this screen.

Button Description
Proceed Without Record Tap this button to allow the Costpoint Mobile T&E application to download your timesheet periods with timesheet data.
Note: Timesheets that are not yet created for a timesheet period or with no lines saved are not available for download.
Cancel Tap this button to cancel the preparation for offline time entry and return to the Timesheet screen.

If you tap Proceed or Proceed Without Record, the Make Available Offline screen displays the timesheets that are downloaded successfully. These timesheets are now available for offline use. The following table describes the button on this screen.

Button Description
Done Tap this button to return to the Timesheet screen.

If you still have unsynced timesheet offline data and you tap Make Timesheets Available Offline, the Costpoint Mobile T&E application displays a message on the screen. The table below provides information about the buttons on this screen.

Button Description
Sync Offline Data Tap this button to display the Sync Records screen and to sync or discard the existing offline timesheet data.
Remove Offline Data Tap this button to delete existing timesheet offline data and proceed with downloading timesheet data for offline time entry.
