Part

This field displays the part ID shown on the main screen.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the part ID.

Description

This field displays the description for the part ID.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure assigned to the part ID.

Table Window

This table window displays ECN information for the selected part.

Engineering Change Notice

This field displays the ID of the ECN.

ECN Rev

This field displays the revision of the ECN.

ECN Description

This field displays the description of the ECN.

Status

This field displays the status of the ECN.

Type

This field displays the type of ECN.

Class

This field displays the ECN class.

Priority

This field displays the priority of the ECN.

Reason

This field displays the reason for the ECN.

Reason Description

This file displays the description for the reason ID.

Action Code

This field displays the code of the action that this ECN will perform. The action codes are:

  • A (Add)
  • C (Change)
  • D (Delete)
  • R (Replace)
  • V (New Rev)
  • O (Obsolete).
Original Part

This field displays the ID of the part that will be affected by the ECN.

Original Rev

This field displays the revision of the part that will be affected by the ECN.

Original Part Description

This field displays the description of the part that will be affected by the ECN.

Original Status

This field displays the release status of the part that will be affected by the ECN. The original statuses are:

  • E (Estimating)
  • O (Obsolete)
  • P (Pre-Release)
  • R (Released)
  • S (Phase-Out)
  • U (Unreleased).
Original Part Active

This field displays Y (Yes) if original part affected by the ECN is active. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).

Change-To Part

This field displays the ID of the part that will replace the original part. If the Original Part field is blank, this field displays the new part being created by the ECN.

Change-To Rev

This field displays the revision of the part that will replace the original part. If the Original Part field is blank, this field displays the revision of the new part being created by the ECN.

Change-To Part Description

This field displays the description of the part that will replace the original part. If the Original Part field is blank, this field displays the description of the new part being created by the ECN.

Change-To Status

This field displays the release status that the change-to part will be assigned by the ECN. The change-to statuses are:

  • E (Estimating)
  • O (Obsolete)
  • P (Pre-Release)
  • R (Released)
  • S (Phase-Out)
  • U (Unreleased).
Change-To Cage

This field displays the CAGE code of the part to be added by the ECN.

Change-To Make/Buy

This field displays B (Buy) if the change-to part is normally purchased or M (Make) if it is normally manufactured.

Effective Date

This field displays the date on which the changes are to become effective.

Material Disposition

This field displays the code for material disposition. The dispositions are:

  • S (Scrap)
  • R (Rework)
  • I (Reinspect)
  • N (No Change)
  • V (Update Rev).
Originator

This field displays the employee ID of the person originating the ECN.

Originator Name

This field displays the name of the person originating the ECN.

Organization

This field displays the organization to which the ECN is linked.

ECN Date

This field displays the date on which the ECN originated.

Submitted for Approval Date

This field displays the date on which the ECN was submitted for approval.

Approval Date

This field displays the date on which the ECN was approved.

Planned Implementation Date

This field displays the date on which changes are planned for implementation.

Implementation Date

This field displays the date on which the ECN changes are to be implemented.

Client Approval Required

This field displays Y (Yes) if customer approval is required for the ECN. Otherwise, this field displays N(No).

Client

This field displays the ID of the customer for whom the ECN is being prepared.

Client Name

This field displays the name of the customer for whom the ECN is being prepared.

Client Approval Status

This field displays the current status of the customer approval. The statuses are: Not Required, Pending, Approved, or Rejected.

ECP

This field displays the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) number assigned to the ECN.

ECP Type

This field displays the current type of the ECP. The types are: Formal, Preliminary, or Not Applicable.

ECN CAGE

This field displays the CAGE ID assigned to the ECN.

Approval Project

This field displays the ID of the project that is to be used to determine which users can approve the ECN.

Hold

This field displays Y(Yes) if the ECN is on hold. Otherwise, this field displays N(No).

Originator Phone

This field displays the telephone number of the originator of the ECN.

Originator Phone Ext

This field displays the telephone extension of the originator of the ECN.

Approval Process

This field displays the approval process this ECN will be required to pass before implementation.

Last Change User

This field displays the user ID of the person who made the last change to the ECN.

Last Change Date/Time

This field displays the date and time of the last change to the ECN.

Entry User

This field displays the user ID of the person who originally created the ECN.

Entry Date/Time

This field displays the date and time when the ECN was originally created.

Company

This column displays your company ID. This column does not display unless you have selected the Separate Items by Company check box in the Corporate Settings block of the Manage Product Definition Settings screen.
